Trip Boss Expense manager App Reviews

Im downloading this as Im typing. Im actually very excited and happy to purchase Trip Boss for the iPhone OS. It was easily the most use non-Palm app on my Tréo 650... yup, thats how long I was using it on the Palm. I finally went to an iPhone due to Microsoft dropping Palm support in Entourage 2008. It was truly cumbersome to log my expenses in the iPhones Notes application. It was even less elegant when it came the time to file them later on. I still need to find out how, if possible, one goes about exporting expense reports from Trip Boss for iPhone, but check this out; the iPhones camera is integrated in the "Receipt" section. One can simply snap a picture of the receipt. It is then backed up to iTunes/iPhoto. Very slick and very handy. If you travel a lot like I do, this application is the BEST for keeping track of your itinerary and expenses. It is now installed and I can see that there have been several refinements to the app since the Palm days. It is much more visually appealing & I can see that the feature set has been greatly expanded in order to take advantage of much of what the iPhone has to offer. Amazing thus far. Thank you Creative Algorithms. It may sound silly, but Ive been waiting for this day for a couple of years now and, somewhat giddily, Im very excited to get back to traveling with my old friend.., who just so happens to be much better looking with the passage of time and has a few new tricks to show me! Well done!

This app is very close to what i would picture for an ideal trip management tool. There are a few bugs that need ro be corrected but i tested a few a this is really practical, easy and flexible since you manage your way just by adjusting settings. One improvement would be turning the journal and expense midule one single thing and this way, you would not need to list things repetidly.

Bussiness applications are supposed to have no bugs and be serious. This is full of bugs. You can not put a budget with decimals, if you put a negative value it interprets is to millions, etc etc. Definitelly not the best app I have bought

I bought Trip Boss for my wife whos a frequent business traveller. She has an iPhone, but she hadnt found the right tool for managing her trips. This app has everything she was looking for: it easily tracks multiple trips by purpose, trip expenses, and their reimbursement. I expect that Trip Boss will quickly pay for itself.

It was great on the Palm and even better on the iPhone!

I cant wait until my next vacation. This app will help me to keep my spending under control. Its just too easy to keep spending without looking at the big picture. This app makes it easy to see how much Ive already spent and what I have left. Plus with the currency converter I know what that item really cost me. If you travel at all, you need this app.

Many of us former Palm users have been awaiting this wonderful app. Once we get all the other modules that came with the Palm version, Ill give it 5 stars. If the introductory version is any indication, the complete version will be destined for "App of the Year." Great work, people, for making this available.

Very nice looking app, and the tip calculator and currency converter can be useful even when Im not traveling.

Mileage log not usable for IRS purposes. Wasted $4.99!!!!!!

Great app, once you figure it out. Be sure to RTFM .... If there is one.

Overall, this app meets all of my expectations with very high marks. The apps menu is well-balanced with a rich selection of budget elements. The apps functionality and key features provide a high level of usability. I would highly recommend this app to a friend or colleague.

Works great and does all things it said it would do. What Id like to see is: -daily spending average -above/below daily average warning -expense entry in local currency and daily sum in US$ -day to departure countdown next to budget overview

Interface is a little inefficient has a bit of a learning curve. But overall worked well for my first trip with it.

Used it on vacation to stay on budget. "Filled the bill", so to speak, on iPhone. Now tired old eyes view it on iPad (bigger type). Any chance of iPad version soon? Enzo

With out a doubt, the best travel expense app out there..... Trust me, Ive used them all.

Another tax season closes and I swear I will keep better records for my business. At last, a simple little program to help me out. With this , I may just be able to do it. Takes a Tyler time to enter everything, but it is well worth the price and is easy to learn and modify for your own style.

Excellent app Exactly what I was looking for to keep track of trip expenses. Worth the money.

I went to Europe with two friends & kept track of all expenses with this app. Easy & well done, nice to have the currency conversions done for you as well as the ability to photograph the associated receipts. I hope to see an easy way to split up costs, eg: at the end of our trip make a report that tells you who owes who - when different people are paying for meals/hotels that are split equally it would be luxurious to know. Thanks!

Has potential. Offers a ton of features, and I love the budget feature. Understand it is made for the iphone, but should at least work in both landscape and portrait mode on ipad. No integration with popular programs like Tripit, Trip case, etc so all itineraries need to be entered by hand. entries take, IMO, more taps than required when compared to other similar programs.

It works. It makes sense. This is what I was looking for to keep track of all my trip expenses.
